A super moist and delicious Hawaiian pineapple cake that’s easy to make and perfect for any occasion.

Ingredients

  • 1 can crushed pineapple (undrained)
  • 1 cup white sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 ½ cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • ½ cup chopped pecans or walnuts (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and spray your pan.
  2. In a large bowl, beat eggs with sugar until frothy.
  3. Add the undrained crushed pineapple and vanilla extract, and mix well.
  4. Incorporate flour, baking soda, salt, and nuts (if desired) until just blended.
  5. Pour the batter into the prepared pan and bake for 30-35 minutes.
  6. Check with a toothpick; if it comes out clean, it’s done.
