- 2 lbs ground beef (80/20 recommended)
- 1 onion, chopped
- 1 cup bread crumbs (or crushed crackers)
- 2 eggs
- 1 cup milk
- 1 can cream of mushroom soup
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Optional: garlic powder, thin-sliced potatoes
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F.
- In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, chopped onion, bread crumbs, and eggs. Mix until well combined.
- Shape the mixture into thick patties and place them in a greased baking dish.
- In a separate bowl, blend the milk and cream of mushroom soup, then drizzle over the patties.
- Bake uncovered for about 45 minutes, until bubbly and golden on top.
- Optional: Add thin-sliced potatoes halfway through baking for a complete meal.
