- 1 teaspoon fresh dill or mint, finely chopped (optional)
- ½ teaspoon salt
- ¼ teaspoon black pepper
- ¼ teaspoon ground cumin (optional)
- 3–5 tablespoons water (adjust for desired consistency)
Instructions
- Whisk Tahini & Lemon Juice: In a medium bowl, whisk together tahini and lemon juice until smooth and slightly thickened.
- Incorporate Olive Oil: Slowly add the olive oil, whisking continuously to create a creamy consistency.
- Add Garlic & Herbs: Stir in minced garlic, parsley, dill or mint, salt, pepper, and cumin.
- Adjust Consistency: Add water, 1 tablespoon at a time, until the sauce reaches your desired thickness.
- Taste & Adjust: Add more salt, lemon juice, or herbs if needed.
- Serve or Store: Use immediately or store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 1 week.
Notes
- For a thicker dip: Use less water and add a little extra tahini.
- For a thinner dressing: Add more water until pourable.
