Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1/2 cup creamy peanut butter

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line two baking sheets with parchment paper.
  2. In a mixing bowl, cream together the unsalted butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy, about 3-4 minutes.
  3. Add in the egg and vanilla extract, mixing until well combined.
  4. In another bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt.
  5. Gradually mix the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients until just combined.
  6. Gently fold in the semi-sweet chocolate chips.
  7. In a separate bowl, mix the creamy peanut butter until smooth.
  8. Using a tablespoon, scoop out the brownie dough onto the prepared baking sheets, spacing them about 2 inches apart.
  9. Using a small spoon or knife, swirl in a dollop of peanut butter on top of each cookie dough ball.
  10. Bake in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes. They should look set but slightly soft in the center.
  11. Remove from oven and let cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.

Notes
